Loss transforms us, and while grief never truly leaves, our speakers will share how their psychedelic experiences helped them find meaning and connection in the aftermath of profound loss.
Our panelists will kick off the discussion before opening it up to the group:
Shanti O’Connor is a grief tender who studied under Sobonfu Somé. She has been professionally working with the liminal space of grief through group processes, individual counseling and co-facilitating yearly grief ceremonies. She is dedicated to creating sacred spaces for individual and collective transformation and healing.
Dianna Waller’s transformative journey through grief and healing followed the loss of her husband to suicide. By exploring the power of entheogens and alternative healing modalities, she reclaimed her life. Through her work as a writer, she shares her experiences with those seeking a pathway forward.
Drs. Emma and Derek Andre, naturopathic physicians and co-owners of Medicine Within, the Andres offer deeply supported ketamine therapy. Their personal journey through trauma and grief taught them that with the right support, healing with psychedelic medicines can be an opportunity for exponential growth and expansion.
This gathering explores how psychedelics can support us as we face one of life’s most challenging experiences. Our speakers will share candidly about their journeys, acknowledging that while grief remains a constant companion, psychedelic experiences offered new ways to carry it.
This evening is for anyone interested in understanding how psychedelics can support the grieving process, whether you’re personally experiencing loss or supporting others who are grieving.
